This first one has Eric and Mike O scanning the skies over Cayuga from the comfort of the Double Black Blind. Notice the blue bird skies?

For this next photo Mike O is taking a rest in the corn field behind Brent's house. As I recall we bagged 3 birds this day. This was Thursday the 28th of December. In future years we will be talking about the warmest second season ever.

Real mature Brent, sticking out your tongue at the cammera!

Just couldn't get enough laughes out of seeing this the first time so heres a repeat of Brent's tongue! Notice how still he lies for the camera!

One of the good days from the dozer pile. This day is repeated in the following photo's with Mike O, Robert, Big Jim and Ernie bagging an early season limit of Geese. This was opening day November 4th when the fields were still passable. Still needed the tire chains though.

How spooked is this bird? No, that darker colored bird in with the duck decoy's is not a decoy, but rather a young bird that landed in the decoys. He let me follow him around taking up close photo's. In fact, later on when we started picking up, another one landed in with this bird while we were loading up the decoys. Think they were golf course raised?

Same day finds my fellow hunters preparing to call it a day! Jim just can't seem to get his eyes off the birds this day. Should learn to close his mouth so the flies dont get in.

Had to get a shot of Mike O with the days bag as well. Robert left before the shot was snapped. It was kinda like how he showed up. The three of us were in the dozer pile when Robert came stalking down the hedge row. We got birds in and started on the days collection so Robert abandoned the hedge row to come and hunt with the gang.

I was surprised to see my face on the blog.It was a good firt half to bad the second was so bad weather wise.Really we had a good year though how many birds fell to the ground pounder. I know one did when I was sitting next to him in the dozer pile and he shot before the call it scared the hell out of me I wasn't expecting it.nice job on the blog.
